Thai Tea

Ingredients:

Syrup:

1 Tz. Water 1

1 cup sugar

4 tsp. Herbal Spice Punch EURO TEA

Drink:

2 Cditas. Assam Black Tea EURO TE

1 tsp. CTC Black Tea Ven Ecuador EURO TEA

6 oz. Water 2

Ice to taste

1 oz. Syrup

3 oz. Condensed milk

3 oz. Evaporated milk

Ornament:

Star anise or ground cinnamon.

Preparation:

1. Syrup: Put the water, sugar and herbal tea in a pot, leave it on the fire to thicken for 10 minutes. Let it cool.

2. Brew the two teas together in water (90-95 °C), infuse for 5 minutes, strain and set aside.

3. Add ice to a glass, the syrup, the condensed milk, the tea mixture (strained) and finally the evaporated milk.

4. Garnish with a star anise or ground cinnamon*.

Tea Master Tip.

Thai Tea is a very popular drink served on the streets of Thailand, sometimes food coloring is added to make it look more orange, but the color should come from the blend of Black Teas used.
