On February 12 of this new year, the Chinese New Year is celebrated, which with its more than 1.37 billion inhabitants, makes it one of the largest celebrations in the world.
This year will be the year of the Ox or Buffalo, with characteristics such as being hard-working, active and always busy, as well as being very popular among friends. Oxen are intelligent and reliable, but never demand praise, They are known for their diligence, reliability, strength and determination . Having an honest nature, Oxen are strongly patriotic, have ideals and ambitions for life and attach importance to family and work.
Those born under this sign are considered brilliant, successful, passionate and constant, once they set a goal they do not rest until they achieve it.
The element of the year is the Metal , which is related to harvest and prosperity, therefore it is expected that those who have sown and worked on projects in previous years will see their reward this year.
Years under the sign of the Ox usually bring savings. But you must work hard to achieve them, as well as strictly follow your plan. Also, a combination of green and red is recommended, in the wallet and in clothing, to promote energy balance.
This new decade will be full of blessings all over the world, because the Ox -or Buffalo- represents order, discipline, effort, work and the systematic changes that the planet will continue to undergo.
Following the extreme events that shook the planet during the previous year, ruled by the Metal Rat, we have no doubt that we have turned the corner in time, beginning a path of no return towards a new cycle in the history of humanity.
On the negative side, we will see radical positions (More than we have seen this year in our country and in others like the USA!!??) so we will have to be cautious not to start fights or discussions over different points of view.
At Euro we have a great selection of teas from China, most of them of Premium quality. We invite you to discover them by drinking them alone and without sweetening (following the tips that you will find in each technical sheet of the same) and if possible in the Gong fu cha style, to celebrate this great holiday.
We have also created a collection of Chinese zodiac teas to be purchased individually or as a set of the entire zodiac.

You can also find this and all the animals of the Chinese zodiac in a beautiful medallion made of tea (Pu erh) that will serve to decorate any corner of your house. You can purchase it by clicking on the following link: Zodiac Medallion
It is our wish to give you Peace, health and flavor in every cup of these delicious and enigmatic teas from China.
Happy new year!
