Which Tea Lovers Club membership to choose?

If you're reading this article, it's because you're interested in becoming a member of the EURO TE Tea Lovers Club but haven't yet decided which membership to choose. I hope that by the end of this article, your questions will have been answered and you'll be able to decide which type of membership is best for you.

Before I tell you about memberships, I think it's important to explain the difference between tea and herbal infusion. In Mexico, we call any infusion of plants or flowers "tea," and this isn't entirely accurate. To be called tea , the infusion must be made with the tea plant, Camellia sinensis, which is native to China. The leaves of this plant are processed in different ways, resulting in five main types of tea: white, green, oolong, black, and pu-erh. All infusions of other herbs, barks, flowers, fruits, or roots that aren't tea are called herbal infusions , which generally don't contain stimulants (theine or caffeine), with the exception of yerba mate.

This option is for you if you enjoy fruit and herbal infusions—the kind of infusions we're used to in Mexico. If you don't like the characteristic flavor of true tea (Camellia sinensis), which is slightly bitter and has a subtle astringency, or if you can't tolerate stimulants (theine/caffeine), which are absent in most of the herbal teas you'll receive, the Tisana Fan membership is ideal for you.

If you love experimenting with new flavors and aromas, appreciate the occasional fruity and exotic infusion, but generally enjoy tea, want to learn more about real tea, and are willing to try some pure teas, the Tea Fan membership is for you. This is the most comprehensive membership, as it includes some pure teas and many of my creations for Mexico, from the different categories of flavored teas (white, green, black, pu-erh) as well as herbal infusions (herbal, fruit, and rooibos).

If you want to develop your palate while gradually learning about the world of tea and enjoying all its flavors and aromas, look no further, this membership is perfect for you.

Tea Expert Membership

This membership is specially designed for those who already know and appreciate tea, as it includes premium teas, most of them unflavored. If you choose this membership, you'll receive some extraordinary rarities sourced from different countries exclusively for members like you, who appreciate and recognize a good tea regardless of its origin. Give yourself the opportunity to continue nurturing your passion for tea with this membership.
